This year, I ate tteokbokki the most as a late-night snack. I think it's so easy and delicious that it's perfect for a Christmas home party or a late-night snack on a hungry day, so I'm going to introduce my own recipe. I'm sure many foreigners will look for tteokbokki recipes, but I'll introduce them to you as a recipe that feels like an old cart bar tteokbokki, so please apply it to your taste and enjoy it.
Introduction of ingredients
The ingredients needed to make tteokbokki are rice cakes, fish cakes, green onions, red pepper paste, soy sauce, red pepper powder, and sugar. In addition to this, you can enjoy a richer taste by adding boiled eggs, sausages, and various vegetables, but since I make old tteokbokki, I only used the least amount of ingredients.
Old Tteokbokki recipe
Now I'll introduce the recipe for tteokbokki. It's so simple that it's grandiose to write down the recipe, but I'll write it down.
First of all, I cooked as much as you can see in the picture. It's a good amount for two people to eat deliciously and full. I love fish cake, so I made tteokbokki with a little bit of rice cake.
Ingredients Preparation: enough to eat rice cake, fish cake (6 skewered fish cake), 1 green onion, 2 tablespoons of red pepper paste, 0.5 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoons of sugar, 2 cups of water, just enough pepper
Boiling Water: Bring the water to a boil first. You need to drink it quickly.
Add seasoning: When the water boils, add all seasoning except rice cake and fish cake.
Add the main ingredient: Put the fish cake first and then the rice cake, but on days when the rice cake is a little hard, boil it before adding it or add the rice cake first.
Waiting: Stir it so that the rice cake doesn't stick to the bottom, and when it gets thick, it's done.
Additional Ingredients / Making Black Bean Noodles Tteokbokki
If you look at the picture in the middle, there's black bean sauce tteokbokki,
I used Chapagetti powder!
If you add a bag of Chapagetti powder instead of soy sauce and red pepper powder, it's perfect for seasoning!
If you want to add additional ingredients such as jjolmyeon, ramen, egg sausage, etc., you can add the main ingredients right away!

The ingredients for controlling the spiciness of the tteokbokki I made are the amount of pepper and red pepper powder. Especially, the spicy taste of pepper is the main ingredient for controlling the spiciness. On days when I say, "I want to eat really spicy!" If you add pepper, you'll get teary nose. If it's only once or twice, put it in lol. And if it's already made, put cheese on top and eat it! It's very delicious~!!
